This 2001 summer picnic was held at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ, directly across the river from lower Manhattan. It was a beautiful fall day, four days before September 11th. You will notice the World Trade Center twin towers in the background of our group photo on the top left. We were so fortunate to have had the chance to enjoy those majestic towers one last time. Our hearts and prayers go out to those families who lost loved ones.
